Fishing Tips
- Never fish in an aluminum boat during a lightning storm.
- If you are thirsty while fishing, it is not recommended you drink
lake water. Bring some drinks in the cooler.
- If you see a snake with a triangular head, it is not wise to try to
pet it or keep it as a pet.
- If using worms as bait, do not tie the worm to the hook. You must
pierce the worms flesh and hook it.
- Fishing in a swimming pool is not wise. If you catch someone by accident,
even though they will put up a good fight, you can't have them mounted
and put on your wall.
- Do not stick your thumb in the mouths of certain ocean fish to get
them our of the water. May ocean fish have teeth and you will lose your
thumb.
- If you are upset at someone for crossing your line, it is not recommended
you try to fight them. Most fishermen carry knives. (Big ones!!)
- Refrain from nude sunbathing in coves while on a boat. Hooks can really
hurt.
- Fishing from a boat, while the boat is still on the trailer is stupid.
- Practice backing a trailer in a parking lot. The boat ramp is a bad
place to get stuck.
- While it is recommended you wear a life preserver while in the boat,
it is not recommended that an adult wear one that goes around his waist
and has Donald Ducks head coming out the middle.
- This one is for Pokey. It is not necessary for a person to hook a
fish and sling him into the boat with one pull of the fishing pole.
