Can you believe I have been in Two Avalanches?

Yes, it is true! Can you believe it? I do a good bit of traveling in my job and I was involved in an awful avalanche. I went to beautiful Pittsburgh Pa. Pittsburgh in September. Doesn't really sound like a fun place. It sounds like.... Well... The Pitts.

Went to Pittsburgh for work to look at databases. Flew there (of course on American Airlines), slept, woke up, drove to meeting, got lost, found meeting, worked, ate, worked some more, flew home and then it happened! Oh, Lunch time consisted of us sitting on a corner executive dining lounge, over looking the Allegheny River and Three Rivers Stadium. (I don't know how to spell it and it is late and I don't have a dictionary). Absolutely beautiful!!!

Where was I...? Oh, we got back and then it happened. I walked into the house, not expecting anything out of the usual. I thought, man, I could go for some sherbet. I opened the freezer door and out comes about 5,000,000 ice cubes. Apparently I left my ice machine on and the little arm thing never stopped. The sad thing is that this is the 2nd time this has happened to me in about 4 months. I could have been seriously injured. I could have lost an eye, slipped on an ice cube, stubbed my toe... the list goes on and on.

Moral to the story... Hmmmm... I have two.. 1st. Go to Pittsburgh and check it out. Really a cool city with a lot of history (yes I have lived in Pennsylvania. See Union Station and the Incline. Pretty cool. Three Rivers and the Carnegie Science Museum. 2nd, turn off your ice maker before you go on extended trips. :)
